How cool is that? Haven’t heard about Sonder before? The noun seems to have been invented by John Koenig and was planned to be described in his upcoming book, The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows.
I’m fascinated by the idea, but I can’t find the book on Amazon and his online references / social media postings seem to be 3-6 years old. Which is a bummer. Maybe he needs to create another new word…that longing for a book you’ve heard about, and would love to read, but it may not get published.
